1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praiseinstead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
What a God we serve. He is delivering me from the darkness that I have been living in. He is equipping me to bring Him glory, and is honoring my dreams at the same time. It will never cease to amaze me how far He is willing to go to tell us that our seemingly small dreams are huge to Him.
Yesterday I found out that I will be attending Seacoast School of Worship for the 2015-2016 school year. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I was one of the 12 students accepted this year. I’d love for you to check out the school and rejoice with me –> seacoastschoolofworship.com
We will be growing in many different areas of leadership, musicianship, and discipleship… but most importantly, we’ll be coming back to the heart of worship and falling in love with our Heavenly Father all over again. Classes will begin in late August and run through May 26 of next year. So, thanks to God’s wonderful and unreasonably lovely will for my life, I’ll be living in Mt. Pleasant, SC for about 9 months. What a good, good God!
Over the next few months, I’ll be fundraising like crazy so that I can attend. I have no doubt in my mind that the Lord will provide, and I am so excited to see the ways in which He will! I will be posting details shortly, but for now, enjoy this song and keep on the look out for exciting new things!!
